FRANKA POTENTE TO GUEST STAR ON 'HOUSE'
posted by webmaster

08.05.09

E! Online reports that Bourne Identity lady Franka Potente is set to guest star on the special two-hour season premiere of Fox medical drama House, and although nothing specific was mentioned about her role, Potente will most definitely be part of Dr. Gregory House's (Hugh Laurie) new world in the psychiatric facility.

House executive producer David Shore says the two hours will "take place basically exclusively within the institution" over a period of six months, during which time House attempts to recover from the debilitating hallucinations that he had dealt with toward the end of last season.

German-born Potente, 35, is best known for her role in the action thriller Run Lola Run in 1998 and opposite Matt Damon in The Bourne Identity in 2002. Her character was killed off in the second film, The Bourne Supremacy.

The two-hour season premiere of House, set for a September 21 debut, was directed by executive producer Katie Jacobs.

NEW YORK MAGAZINE 'VULTURE' INTERVIEW
posted by webmaster

Franka recently spoke with Vulture about Che and revealed some of her future plans - including a new book about... fitness!

"The next film that I have in mind is gonna be almost like a Bollywood film, in three different times and three different countries. And it’s gonna be very expensive and very huge."

"I’ve published one book before, and now I’m writing a book of essays and stories about life in Tokyo. And I have one book coming out in May in Germany, about fitness. But it's not the typical workout book. It's more for people that party and drink and don’t like ladies in leggings to show them what to do."
