SYNOPSIS

recounts the ninth-century legend of a woman who,
disguised as a man, becomes pope.

Woolfolk Cross.
Actor John Goodman exited the set earlier this
year, prompting Constantin to file a $3 million
lawsuit against the actor, accusing him of reneging
on an agreement to appear in the film. Volker
Schlöndorff was chosen to direct the
film, but got fired (07/25/07). Information regarding
